Approved Filler (Refrigerant) Online Course

This course meets WorkSafe requirements for gaining an Approved Filler Compliance Certificate.  On successful completion of your course, you will be issued with an Approved Filler Licence card and certificate issued by our Compliance Certifier. The Approved Filler Compliance Certificate needs to be renewed every 5 years.  

Unlike other Approved Filler courses, in this course you will learn about the properties of all refrigerant gases including flammables.

• Types of refrigerants - including flammables
• Managing hazards during filling
• Legislation, regulations, standards & codes of practice
• Recovery and filling

Course structure:

• You will be given access to Canvas our Learning Management System to complete the eLearning modules which cover the theory component of this course.
• You will complete the online theory question sets - also in Canvas
• You will complete the practical assessment under the supervision of a Certified Approved Filler. You will need to provide that persons certificate number in the practical assessment section of this course. 
• You will complete a short oral assessment with a Compliance Certifier.
